Pearl-diving history, F1 weekends, and a causeway to the Gulf.

Bahrain's visit eVisa comes in several lengths, from a two-week single entry up to a five-year multiple entry. Unlike most Gulf e-visas, Bahrain asks for financial evidence up front β€” we check yours meets the threshold before submitting.

Why people go

Bahrain is a short, easy Gulf break β€” three to four hours from most Indian metros, small enough to see properly in three or four days, and noticeably more relaxed in tone than its neighbours. It has one of the longest-established Indian communities in the Gulf, so Indian food and Hindi are commonplace. The Formula 1 Grand Prix draws a dedicated group of Indian motorsport fans each season. It also has real historical depth for its size, with Dilmun-era archaeology and a UNESCO-listed pearling trail that few visitors expect from a Gulf island.

Common rejection reasons & how to avoid them

Bank statement below the threshold

Bahrain is unusually specific here β€” BHD 300–500 monthly income, or BHD 150 per day of your trip, evidenced over 3 months and in English. This is the most common reason applications fail.

Statement not in English

Bahrain requires the bank statement in English. A regional-language statement will be returned even if the balance is fine.

Submitting with an error

Bahrain doesn't allow edits after submission β€” you have to cancel and reapply. We check everything before it goes in.

Frequently asked questions

R

Yes, though Indians are eligible for both the eVisa and, subject to conditions, visa on arrival. The eVisa arranged in advance is the safer route since entry on arrival is never guaranteed.
