Why people go

Malaysia is one of the most comfortable Southeast Asian destinations for Indian travellers, largely because of the long-established Malaysian Indian community β€” Tamil is widely spoken, Batu Caves is one of the most significant Murugan temples outside India, and Thaipusam there draws enormous crowds. That means Indian food, including pure-vegetarian, is genuinely easy everywhere. Flights from most Indian metros run four to five hours with heavy low-cost competition, English is widely spoken, and the country offers city, beach, highlands, and rainforest in one trip. Kuala Lumpur also works well as a shopping destination.

Eligibility

Visa-free entry for Indian nationals is currently in place until 31 December 2026
Passport valid at least 6 months

Confirmed return or onward ticket within 30 days, plus proof of accommodation and funds

Upload each of these during your application β€” we check them for issues before anything is submitted.

What we do for you

Your Malaysia visa, in five moves

  1. You send

    your documents

    every page

Against the rules that apply today β€” not last year's blog post.

  3. We flag

    what won't pass

You hear it from us, with time to fix it.

  4. We file

    at the embassy

And chase it, so you're never on hold to a hotline.

  5. It lands

    on time

Before you fly β€” or your service fee comes back.

Common rejection reasons & how to avoid them

Not filing a new MDAC for re-entry

The arrival card covers one arrival only. If you hop to Singapore or Thailand and come back, you need a fresh one β€” this catches out a lot of travellers.

No confirmed onward ticket

Immigration checks for a return or onward booking within 30 days, even though there's no visa to refuse.

Assuming visa-free entry is permanent

The exemption for Indian nationals runs to 31 December 2026. Check the current position if you're booking travel beyond that.
