Morocco's e-Visa is open to Indian passport holders on an ordinary passport alone — you don't need a US or Schengen visa first, contrary to what many travel sites still say. We verify eligibility for your specific case before applying.

Why people go

Morocco has grown quickly with Indian travellers, helped by the e-Visa being open on an ordinary passport with no requirement to hold a US or Schengen visa first — a point many travel sites still get wrong. The appeal is visual and varied: blue streets, red-earth kasbahs, Sahara dunes, and Atlantic ports within one week-long loop, which has made it a strong destination for photography-driven and honeymoon travel. It also reads as exotic without being difficult — the tourist infrastructure is well developed, guided desert circuits are easy to book, and Moroccan food, with its tagines, breads, and mint tea, is spiced in a way Indian travellers take to quickly.

Common rejection reasons & how to avoid them

Passport without 2 blank pages

Morocco needs at least two blank pages for entry and exit stamps — a nearly-full passport is a common avoidable refusal.

No confirmed accommodation

Provide hotel bookings covering your stay, or your host's details and address if you're staying with family.

Applying too close to travel

Standard processing runs around 3 business days. Express is available, but leaving it to the last minute removes any margin for corrections.
