Common rejection reasons & how to avoid them
Weak financial documentation
Korea looks closely at bank statements β a stable 6-month balance reads far better than a large deposit made just before applying.
Unclear employment status
Include an employment certificate stating your role and approved leave, or business registration if self-employed. Gaps here invite extra scrutiny.
Applying too close to travel
Korean consulates advise around two weeks, and it can run longer in peak season. Apply a month out where you can.
Frequently asked questions
Yes, a full sticker visa. K-ETA is only open to nationals of visa-waiver countries, and India isn't one β so the K-ETA route isn't available to Indian travellers.
