Why people go

Germany is the workhorse of Indian travel to Europe, mostly because of connectivity: Lufthansa has served India for over six decades and flies nonstop to Frankfurt and Munich from Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai — more Indian gateways than any other Schengen carrier — with Air India also running Delhi–Frankfurt. Germany also hosts one of Europe's largest Indian student populations, drawn by public universities that charge no tuition, so a great deal of Indian travel here starts as a family visit and expands into a wider European trip. On the cultural side, Shah Rukh Khan shot Don 2 across Berlin over roughly 50 days in 2010 — Brandenburg Gate, Gendarmenmarkt, Alexanderplatz, the East Side Gallery — and Berlin's tourism board built a promoted film trail around it for the Indian market.

What we do for you

Your Germany visa, in five moves

  1. You send

    your documents

Scan your passport with your phone. We read it automatically.

  2. We check

    every page

Against the rules that apply today — not last year's blog post.

  3. We flag

    what won't pass

You hear it from us, with time to fix it.

  4. We file

    at the embassy

And chase it, so you're never on hold to a hotline.

  5. It lands

    on time

Before you fly — or your service fee comes back.
