Schengen Visa (Type C)

One visa. 29 countries. Up to 90 days.

The short-stay Schengen visa lets you move freely across 29 European countries on a single application.

The fee and the document checklist are identical across the Schengen area. There are EU rules about which country's consulate a multi-country trip has to go through β€” that part is ours to get right. You send us your documents once and we handle the filing.

Required documents

The standard Schengen checklist. Business trips, family visits, and applications for minors each add a couple of extra items β€” we'll flag those during your application.

1

Passport

Issued within the last 10 years, valid 3+ months beyond your departure from the Schengen area, with 2 blank visa pages.

2

Minimum €30,000 medical coverage, valid across the entire Schengen area for your full trip.

3

Proof of accommodation

Hotel bookings, or an invitation letter with your host's residence proof, covering every night.

4

Travel itinerary

Round-trip flight reservation and a day-by-day plan matching your bookings.

5

Proof of financial means

Bank statements (usually last 3 months, stamped), payslips, and your employer's leave approval.

What we do for you

Your visa, in five moves

  1. You send

    your documents

Scan your passport with your phone. We read it automatically.

  2. We check

    every page

Against the rules that apply today β€” not last year's blog post.

  3. We flag

    what won't pass

You hear it from us, with time to fix it.

  4. We file

    at the embassy

And chase it, so you're never on hold to a hotline.

  5. It lands

    on time

Before you fly β€” or your service fee comes back.

Common refusal reasons & how to avoid them

Itinerary doesn't match bookings

Make sure your cover letter, flights, and hotel dates line up exactly, night for night.

Insufficient travel insurance coverage

Confirm your policy explicitly states €30,000+ coverage valid across the whole Schengen area.

Insufficient or unexplained funds

Show a stable balance across your last 3 months rather than a single large deposit, and add a short note explaining any lump sums.

You can spend up to 90 days total inside the Schengen area within any rolling 180-day period β€” across all member countries combined, not per country. The 180-day window isn't fixed to calendar dates: on any given day, count backwards 180 days and add up the days you've spent in the Schengen area. Once you hit 90, you can't re-enter until enough days roll off the back of that window.
